URC – Runners Champion will be held in Vanvikan on Sunday May 4th 2025, only 20 minutes by express boat from Trondheim city center. For everyday exercisers and recreational runners, URC offers a suitably challenging and diverse experience. Can you complete all five URC stages in your neighborhood? What jersey color will you earn, and can you improve with regular training?
For super-fit enthusiasts, URC is a varied and fun competition with friends, neighbors, or colleagues. Who is the strongest in each running discipline, and who is truly the most versatile runner?
For elite athletes, it’s interesting to compare with athletes from different backgrounds. Who is the ultimate runner – is it a favored track athlete, a high-capacity cross-country skier, or a fast and agile soccer player?
In URC you earn jerseys based on your skills in various arts of running.
The jersey-colors follow the same order as belts in martial arts, from white to black. A perfect challenge is to see if you can climb a level or two before the end of the summer. If you are a bit competitive, you can call out a friend to sort out who is the most complete runner and thus earns the best jersey 😉
URC 2021 starts early in June.
This year’s locations are Trondheim, Oslo, Bergen, Bodø, Tromsø, Lillehammer, Åre, Molde, Kristiansand, Steinkjer, Oppdal and Romsdalen.
